한국의 향후 10년간 실질 성장률은 1.8%로 예상된다. 35개 주요 경제국 중 20위, 17개 선진국 중 3위에 해당한다. 이는 전 세계 평균보다 높은 근로자 1인당 성장률 3%의 결과이다. 근로자 1인당 생산량은 생산성과 부채에 의존한다. 향후 10년간 생산성 성장률은 양호할 것으로 예상되며, 부채 상황은 악화될 것으로 본다.
한국은 innovation/commercialism과 교육 수준 대비 근로자가 제공하는 가치가 장점이다. 고학력 근로자가 있는 국가가 더 빠르게 성장한다. 높은 교육 수준을 고려할 때 근로자가 다소 저렴하다.
반대로 문제는 부채 및 debt service levels, shrinking workforce이다. 근로자의 직업 윤리가 다소 약하고, 정부 지원 수준이 낮다.
